Pearley is founder of the African American Folklorist Magazine and Podcast and was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame as Great Blues Historian and TV/Radio Producer and Great Blues Artist. We discuss the history of blues music, African American traditions, Juneteenth, Black spirituals and the African American experience, as well as his work as a folklorist taking storytelling, entrepreneurship, and bringing them together in a collaborative effort.
